These Broken Lines is a recording project started by Brian David Detmers in 2019. Brian began composing and inviting guest vocalists and musicians to record a variety of songs in different genres. Although primarily an Electric Blues guitar player, his writing began to cross in to Pop Music, Rock, and Instrumental arrangements with the latter geared toward music for film.
Brian enlisted the help of some wonderful guitar players, both locally and on a national level. The result is a wide range of styles and voicings on an equally expansive range of genres of music. His Midwestern (USA) upbringing insured that he was witness to so many different kinds of talent and textures, all of which he has incorporated into this unique writing project.
A variety of lead vocalists appear on Brian’s projects, each one chosen for a specific reason, which gives each offering a new sound.
